The SubOptic conference is an eminent event for the submarine telecommunications industry held every three years.  It covers all aspects of the submarine cable business & markets – from commercial, sales & support functions (legal, finance, regulatory) to hardware design, engineering and R&D, and on to marine activities (pre-build survey, project implementation and maintenance).

SubOptic 2010 is the 7th conference in the series.  This year’s theme is “Enabling the Next Generation of Networks and Services” and will be held at the Pacifico Yokohama Conference Centre in Yokohama, Japan between May 11-14, 2010.

Boss Portal was proud to be present a paper together with Southern Cross Cables Limited and Alcatel Lucent at SubOptic 2010 on how to evolve an Operational Support System (OSS) to provide better operational/business benefits.  For copies of the paper and presentation please visit the SubOptic conference archives
